Friday, November 22 - Sunday, November 24, 2019
North Shore Congregation Israel, Glencoe, IL
Join with other teen songleaders, led by professional singer-songwriter-songleader Alan Goodis and guest faculty for a weekend of training, skill development and hands on learning! Participate in intensive workshops, small-group specialty focused electives, leading religious school music, individual evaluation and a musical Shabbat experience.
Jewish music is a cornerstone of the Reform Jewish movement. Return home with a skill set that will enable you to take advantage of the songleading opportunities at your Temple, Religious School, Youth Group and in NFTY.
NFTY Nashir is a home hosted event, which means families from North Shore Congregation Israel will host teen participants. These families must apply and be approved by the NFTY Chicago Regional Director to host. If your teen is participating in Nashir and would like to host (even if you do not belong to North Shore Congregation Israel), please fill out the host home application on this event page. We strongly recommend that every teen participates in this home hosted style for the event so it is a full weekend expierence. If your teen is not able to stay at a host home, and would rather stay at home, please contact Naomi Looper at email@example.com to discuss.
Regular: $175 USD

Registration will be accepted after November 6, 2019 on a space-available basis.
