This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12 who is interested in a Reform Jewish experience.

 


  • Meals are included in the cost of the event.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

Please review the tentative bus schedule for Summer Kallah for tentative arrival and departure information. The cost to ride the bus is included in the event fee and you will be asked to choose a stop during registration. If you are interested in arriving and departing from different locations, please contact NFTY Chicago Director Logan Zinman at nftycar@urj.org for permission and to ensure there is space on the bus.

There will not be transportation provided by NFTY for the Friday option, but Logan would be happy to put you in touch with other families to carpool.

Participants are expected to bring both Shabbat and casual clothing, and are encouraged to bring spending money for NFTY items and travel. Please leave valuables at home. Do not bring jewelry, electronic devices or large amounts of cash. Each participant is responsible for his/her belongings. A packing list will be included in the confirmation email.

Participants will receive an e-mail confirmation 1-2 weeks before the event. This confirmation will include finalized bus arrival and departure information and other important information regarding the event, including a packing list and details about new merchandise and our asefah (plenary session).

If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through July 28, 2016 – 90% of the registration fees paid Through August 4, 2016 – 75% of the registration fees paid Through August 11, 2016 – 50% of the registration fees paid After August 11, 2016 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after August 11, 2016 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to nftyregistrar@urj.org. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
