A bicycle ride on the Lake Michigan shoreline, offering hundreds of miles for exploration.

Jewish Council on Urban Affair's Or Tzedek (Chicago, IL)
Or Tzedek gives teens a Jewish framework to explore their social justice identities and gives them the tools and inspiration to build a better world. In every program, teens will: learn from leaders on the forefront of activism, create change in Chicago's diverse communities, meet other teens who are passionate about social justice, find their voice and power as Jewish leaders, and of course, have fun!

Children of Abraham Coalition Peace Camp (Chicago, IL)
Incoming 6th-9th graders from Jewish, Christian and Muslim homes are interfaith ambassadors. These rising leaders will show how to spread peace, understanding and love in Chicago’s first ever Abrahamic Peace Camp by learning about each other’s faith traditions, visiting different houses of worship, and participating in hands-on activities through art and other mediums. High schoolers can apply to be leaders for this incredible week-long program.

The 100 Youth Performing Arts Program (Chicago, IL)
Only 100 select teens (ages 10-16) will be chosen from the entire city. These young performers will learn to take their vocal and performance ability to the next level. The program comes with a curriculum including master classes, ensembles, jams, and weekly private and group lessons. As a part of The 100 program, each young performer will leave inspired, transformed, and equipped to drive their music forward. At the end of the summer all 100 will take part in an unprecedented showcase at the famed Harold Washington Cultural Center.

URJ Heller High (Formerly NFTY-EIE) (Israel)
An accredited summer program for students in grades 10-12th, offering the opportunity to live and study in Israel while earning high school and college credit.

Scholarships

NFTY is committed to working in conjunction with teens and parents, and their home congregations, to make a summer experience possible for everyone. The amount of scholarship awarded to each family will be based on the number of applicants and level of need. To request a scholarship, please complete our online application.

On a case-by-case basis, additional scholarship money may be available from your synagogue and/or local UJA Federation office. We encourage you to explore these options as well.
